At it's heart, the Hoedown is all about raising money and awareness of Prostate Cancer for The Prostate Cancer Charity. One man dies every hour of prostate cancer.
The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK’s leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. They fund research, provide support and information, and they campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. They provide the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline staffed by prostate cancer specialist nurses.
Their nurses offer free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. The Charity is fighting prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.
